Congo Brazzaville

Tomorrow, with B/m Bill Rollins, I travel to Brazzaville Congo for special spiritual meetings. First we meet with the officers in Officers Councils. Then we participate in a large soldiers' rally followed by meetings with the cadets. On Sunday we will be in the Area-wide Holiness Meeting. They're expecting about 3,000 people.

Please pray for us and the people who gather with us in the Congo. There are language and cultural differences which have to be surmounted. We're trusting God to speak personally to His people and believing for their responsiveness to the Holy Spirit.

I will hope to post reports as we go along. We'll see.

You and Bill will be on our prayers as you share in the Congo. As I am sure you know God has sent the Holy Spirit before you and the work has already started in the hearts of the people. We know that you two will do a great job representing the USA East, but even a better job as His messengers!

I hear that Congo/Brazzaville is a kickin' place spiritually brother! God bless you in your journey and enjoy yourself. I pray that the joy of the Lord would be yours in abundance, and that it would radiate from you in such a way that before you even speak, others would know that you are an ambassador of the Most High.

"O how happy are they who the Saviour obey,
And have laid up their treasure above.
Tongue can never express the sweet comfort and peace
Of a soul filled with Jesus' love."

Bon voyage!

We have a dear association with the Makoumbou brothers; they even lived with us for a while.

If you will be among Salvationists such as these, you are sure to be blessed!

We are praying for you now Jim.

We had two of our finest students from Brazzaville. There sensitive, yet passionate spirits, spoke of the way God is working in the desparate places around the world.

You are blessed. We all are... 'cause of what Christ did and continues to do for us!
