Building and such
The School for Officer Training celebrated the dedication of their new Academic Studies Suite today. It sounds like an apartment, but it's really a major improvement for the Curriculum, Inter-Cultural and Distance Education Departments. The space is beautiful and appropriate to the advancement of the school. Major Don Lance has led the way in the project with professional support of architect, Frank Elliott and contractor, Mark Mitchell.
We can be proud of the end product and should be. As I mentioned in an earlier blog, this is a first class operation producing great results. It's worth the investment.
The scripture used today was taken from 1 Peter 2:4-5 (MsgB), to understand the holy intention of all we do as believers, and the true objective of our continuing construction:
"Welcome to the living Stone, the source of life. The workmen took one look and threw it out; God set it in the place of honor. [5] Present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you'll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God."
