NEOSA ACR

We find ourselves in Cleveland, Ohio (don't worry thieves, there are still three adults at home.)for the Annual Command review. Lt. Colonels Bill and Judy LaMarr are leading the way in fine style and with confidence. The team is very friendly and smoothly working together to glorify God.

Neosa has always been one of those divisions that has a strong expression of SA work and ministry. Both of my parents went to training from this division. I dare say they have sent some of the finest people to training from here.

Colonel LaMarr gives the impression that increasing ministry and mission are still possible here. I believe him. Glory to God!

1 Timothy 1:5 (NIV)
5 "The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."

I went to training from neosa. I hope that does not ruin the division's reputation.

A couple of spots out there are precious to us. Salem is where both of our boys were born. For some reason, we often feel at home out there when we visit.

It is fascinating how divisions seem to have personalities of their own, even while they have quite a bit of diversity within (yes, there is diversity in Ohio). New Jersey, when we were there, was definitely in the shadow of GNY, but we were scrappers - lots of young officers, with no clue what to do or how to do it, but somehow managing to care deeply about each other and to find ways to get the job done. Pendel - what can I say - there's an aura about Pendel that you don't quite understand until you serve there. Kind of hard to break in, but when you do, you belong. And NEOSA - there is a spirit in NEOSA - salt of the earth people, lots of deep roots, yet we're alive and breathing and hungry for the holiness of God.
