In most areas of life, the issue of communication is essential. When a marriage is doing well, it's advantaged by good communication. When an administrative team is functioning with effectiveness, communication is working. In your computer right now, there are software and hardware components that have to communicate for you to be on the internet.

Can you imagine having a relationship without communication? It's not possible...at least a positive relationship. This understanding, (if I'm communicating it correctly) begs the question, how we think we can have a relationship with God when we don't communicate with Him?

Our territory is launching a 24/7 prayer initiative with the commissioning weekend coming up soon. You can learn more by clicking on this link: http://www.armyonitsknees.org/ What do you think of the concept of prayer without ceasing?

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (KJV)
16 "Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Now here is a topic that can “strike fear into the hearts.” The most important part (at least to me) about communication is listening. If we don’t listen, then we are talking heads with words just flying in the air. Taking the time to listen to each other will enhance/improve our knowing of each other and our love for each other. Keeping these things in mind as we launch into the 24/7 prayer initiative, let us take the time to listen to what God is telling us, not us just telling Him our troubles/needs/wants. But also give thanks and praise to Him for all He has given us. Exodus 14:14, “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."
1 Samuel 12:16, "Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!

And this is my prayer as we move into an Territorial focus on prayer, Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
