Trust
Now this is a deep subject. Who do you trust?
It is so difficult when trust in a relationship is disturbed. This particular quality of our lives, when ailing, can destroy hope, confidence and leaves a stain that even Clorox can't get out.
I'm learning this summer to trust God more than ever. Even when my trust in someone is weakening, I am able to trust God in their place. He is completely reliable and has no ulterior motives. He only loves us.
Trust Him with everything.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG)
"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own.
6 Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track."

Horses, chariots, are human implements and all have the natural propensity to fail. Relationships are not even comprised of matter, so ethereal and transitory.
Some men trust in them. We would all like to. We get bummed when the relationships fail.
As much as we would like the answer to come from a person or a system, the answer comes only from God.
He is the only Person on whom we can count; I also wish there were more.
6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed;
he answers him from his holy heaven
with the saving power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
Psalm 20:6-8 (New International Version)

The betrayal of trust is an intimate assault. We must be very careful to honor the trust of those who confide in us, even when we "disguise their identities" and use them as an illustration or example. How wonderful to have a Counselor Who never betrays our trust, knows ALL about us and loves us with the greatest love in spite of that!
