Anniversary
The celebration of anniversaries are a great opportunity to thank God for His faithfulness. We know we couldn't do it without Him. There would be no purpose apart from God.
With Him, all things are possible, including the successful accumulation of days, weeks, months and years that make up anniversaries. Let's face it. Some things just don't last. I enjoyed seeing the ripple of centennial celebrations across the territory, following the 1980 celebration of TSA in the USA.
There is an anniversary today that is capturing my imagination. Carolyn and I have been married 33 years today. Our relationship is more than anyone ever promised and more than we could have expected. Hallelujah! Our love is focused in God's love and that makes it divine.
1 John 4:11-12 (NIV)
1Jn 4:11 "Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us."
