With due respect to the dictionary, the Advent season is all about the coming of Christ. We celebrate his first coming - Christmas and look forward to His second coming. I was also blessed with the Staff Band's ministry yesterday...About 25 of them came to my house after the morning meeting andthen did a concert at our hanging of the greens.. I was also blessed with the chorus "Mary, Did you Know?" The words of that song are very moving..It was a good day!
These are each great expressions. It sounds as if we are experiencing the Advent of Christ all over.
